MIKE NAVARRE, Commissioner Designee, Department of Commerce,

behalf of the House Rules Committee by request of the governor.
He explained that the proposed bill would repeal an obsolete law

obsolete. He said it had been identified as something that was
no being used and there are more than adequate laws in place to
address similar protections.
